Project Manager - Contract Lifecycle Management System Implementation
Location: REMOTE - Must be located in Southern California
Schedule: fully remote | Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Duration: long-term temp (one year contract)
Salary: $100k - $110k (depending on experience)
Job Description:
* Serve as the Legal department representative providing project leadership for the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) implementation project which includes developing a project plan and managing the end-to-end CLM system implementation.
* Serve as the liaison between stakeholders, vendor and end-users to ensure a successful deployment of the CLM software system.
* Manage the Request for Proposal Process, including working with Purchasing, IT and Finance, gathering business and user requirements, preparing RFP, identifying vendors, and scheduling interviews and demos with bidders.
* In collaboration with IT, oversee the system set up, customization, user training, and deployment to meet organizational needs.
* Provide advice and support to Legal staff related to the pre- and post-implementation process.
* Assist Legal department staff with developing a training, user manual, and policies and procedures for the system.
* Manage project budget and resources to ensure system is delivered timely and within budget.
* Provide regular oral and written reports to the Chief Compliance Officer/General Counsel regarding current status of implementation, budget, and task assignments. Communicate delays and proactively work to resolve issues.
Knowledge and skills:
* Prior experience implementing a contract management system required
* Bachelor's degree or project management certification required.
* Familiarity with various CLM platforms (Docusign CLM, Icertis, Ironclad, LinkSquares, etc)
* A minimum of three years' experience in software implementation project management
* Ability to translate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
* Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Prior experience working with a law firm, in-house counsel, or contract department preferred.
